The former Destiny’s Child star was supposed to replace Jenna Bush Hager as host of “Today on Hoda & Jenna,” but Rita Ora stepped in instead.
The departure came after Rowland appeared as a guest on the Today show at 8am, with fellow singer Rita Ora later joining her as a guest.
A source told People that “Kelly left because she and her team didn’t like her dressing room,” and Ora “agreed to replace her at the last minute.
Rowland asked if she could use the green room.” upstairs because she wasn’t comfortable with the one she was in, but used this, the report says Rowland was offered several other options, but chose instead to leave.
