Earlier, the Saints’ public relations team announced that Chris Olave was out for the rest of the game and was being evaluated at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
Olave doesn’t move at first after being hit by the object, but he can move his limbs when he’s placed on a block and carried in a car.
He was taken to a hospital in Charlotte, according to reporter Jeff Nowak. He reportedly lost consciousness at some point after the attack.
