Erica Banks is an American rapper from DeSoto, Texas. After releasing his first three mix tapes, he signed with 1501 Certified Entertainment, who released his self-titled mix tape in June 2020.
This led to his debut single, “Buss It,” which went viral on TikTok. In January 2021, he signed to Warner Records, on which “Buss It” was released.
In 2018, Banks self-released her debut single, “Say My Shit” via SoundCloud. On March 17, 2019, Banks released her first official mixtape, titled Art of the Hustle.
In April 2019, he signed with 1501 Certified Entertainment after performing his single “Buss It” for the label’s head, former American baseball player Carl Crawford, in an Instagram Live video.
Banks has listed American rappers Missy Elliott and Nicki Minaj among her musical inspirations, and cites rappers Asia Doll and Cuban Doll as having influenced her music and image.
