Hungary’s Barnabas Varga stretches out after a concussion during the Euro 2024 clash with Scotland on Monday morning (AEST).
Varga collapsed on the pitch in Stuttgart and struggled to move after a long cross into the box as Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn came to collect the ball.
After a long time, the doctors took the 29-year-old off the field when he was red. Paper is wrapped around the stretcher.
Hungarian captain Dominik Szoboszlai appeared in tears as he consoled his teammate. Varga was immediately taken to the hospital after the incident.
