Bull Rider Reid Oftedahl was kicked out of the 2022 WNFR after an injury killed the second round
Bull rider Reid Oftedahl was injured in the second run while riding Rafter H Rodeo’s cattle under the influence.

Oftedahl, who is from Raymond, Minnesota, went ahead and hit the bull on the head and threw it to the ground somewhere.

Oftedahl, who was wearing a helmet, Justin’s teammate discovered the closed wound and took him for further examination.
Dr. Tandy Freeman, chief medical officer and surgeon for Team Justin Sportsmedicine, provided ProRodeo Sports News with the following update Saturday morning.
“He was admitted to the UMC Trauma Center (Friday afternoon, December 2), with head and neck injuries and is in stable condition and they will do more tests on him today (December 3)”, Freeman said.
“What I can tell you is that he stopped competing for any other rodeos.”
Oftedahl, 28, made his Wrangler NFR debut in 2022. He finished 15th in the PRCA | Overall the RAM range has $97,944.
