Jeffrey Spaide, the handsome Navy SEAL who killed his neighbors while shoveling snow on a winter morning on February 1, 2021, has died in Plains Township, Pennsylvania, authorities said. Murder – suicide.

The deadly incident in the sleepy town came after a heated row between neighbors – which involved the dumping of snow.
At the time, Plains Township was one of several areas in the Northeast affected by the storm, which led to several flight cancellations and school closings.
Snow totals reached more than 30 inches in some areas. And slippery roads and winter have caused many road accidents.
But it was no accident when Jeffrey Spaide, 47, shot and killed his neighbors, James Goy, 50, and his wife, Lisa Goy, 48, outside their home on a cold February morning.
After killing the couple, Spaide returned home – where he later killed himself. This is the shocking story of the murder-suicide of Jeffrey Spaide – and his relationship with his neighbors caused the problems that preceded it.
Born on June 16, 1973, Jeffrey Spaide grew up in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and spent most of his youth there.
Spaide attended Wilkes University and Villanova University, earning a BS in Environmental Engineering and a Masters in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. “It’s clear that there are ongoing disputes between the neighbors.
some of which involve disputes over trash and snow removal,” said Sam Sanguedolce, Luzerne County’s first district attorney.
“They pass each other, and when they clear the snow, they throw it on the street and on someone else’s property.”
