In Texas, a young bull rider was crushed to death while competing. Dylan Grant, 24, was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Houston after the bull stepped on him, but he did not make it out alive.

After being bucked off in the second round of the Wharton County Youth Fair Extreme Bulls event, Grant, 24, was stomped by a bull named Commander.

According to the PRCA, Dylan Grant was hurt after getting bucked off a bull as he was riding it during the second round of the Wharton County Youth Fair Xtreme Bulls competition.
That year, he rode The Cervi Brothers’ Classic Equine Bad Memory to an 86.5-point victory in Round 3 of the MSCFR in Loveland, Colorado.
