A search is underway for a 25-year-old woman who went missing after she stopped on an Alabama highway and told family she was stopping to watch a child.
Nichole Russell called 911 and spoke to a family member, saying she saw a child walking along Interstate 459 South near Market Mile 11 in Hoover, Alabama.
FOX affiliate WBRC obtained traffic camera video of Russell pulling over to the side of the road.
In the footage, his car can be seen from a distance with its hazard lights flashing.
Carlee’s mother, Talitha Russell, said her daughter was on the phone with a family member when she stopped checking on the child.

“Only one witness reported that he could see a gray car and a man with brown hair standing outside Carlee’s car,” Hoover police Lt.
