LOUIS (KMOV) – New questions are now swirling about the death of a St. Louis girl. Louis that showed life. Last Friday, 12-year-old Paris Harvey and 14-year-old Kuaron Harvey were found inside the Cupples Loft. St.
Louis police say Paris shot his cousin with a shotgun, then killed himself. Everything that happened happened on the social media platform Instagram.
Dara Harvey, Cuaron’s mother, said, “There is no way my son is going to leave. News 4 was with Cuaron’s mother almost a week after the incident.
Tears streamed down her face as she reminded her son of how weak they were. The video shows the girl, Paris, with a gun.
He seems to be playing around with the trigger and safety of the gun, and in the end, he worships the outcast. Cuaron walks into the frame and Paris puts the gun to his head.
The gun went off. Cuaron fell to the ground. Paris jumped back and fell, and soon after, a second round exploded.
Harvey said he does not believe his son’s death was an accident, as other family members have said recently.
News 4 has reached out to Paris’ mother and grandmother since the incident for an interview or comment, but have not heard back.
Harvey said he hopes the police will find out what really happened. As for the rest of the community, and in the wake of another recent shooting involving children, he hopes this is a lesson in gun safety.
