Alexandra Ianculescu is a Romanian-Canadian speed skater who is also a professional cyclist.
She was born in Sibiu, Romania in 1991 and immigrated to Canada with her family in 2001. She began speed skating in 2008 and quickly rose to the top of the Canadian national team.
She competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics and retired from speed skating in 2021 to pursue a career in cycling. She is currently a member of the Dutch Elite women’s road team NWVG-UPLUS.
