Aidan Hutchinson, the Lions’ leading rusher, suffered a lower leg injury in Week 6 against the Cowboys.
Pro Football Talk reports that the van took Hutchinson into the tunnel where the ambulance was, instead of into the locker room.
He will be evaluated at the hospital before deciding on another course of action.
The Detroit Lions defeated the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6, but suffered a big loss in the third quarter.
Defensive end Aidan Hutchinson injured his leg while tackling Dak Prescott and has been ruled out for the rest of the game.
The trainers put a pneumatic cast on his leg and went into the locker room to take an x-ray.
He will likely have an MRI on Monday. Hutchinson started the day with a career-high 6.5 sacks and stayed at 7.5 after his sack in Prescott.
He is the favorite to win the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award over T.J Watt, Nick Bosa and Chris Jones, among others.
