Head of Israeli-American detainee Hersh Goldberg-Polin found in Gaza The family of Israeli-American detainee Hersh Goldberg-Polin announced that he was killed in the Gaza Strip.
The family issued a statement early Sunday morning, hours after Israeli forces said they had found a body in Gaza. “It is with heavy hearts that the Goldberg-Polin family is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved son and brother, Hersh,” he said.
“The family thanks you all for your love and support and asks that your privacy be respected at this time.
Goldberg-Polin, 23, was among those arrested by the army at a music festival in southern Israel on October 1. 7. He lost a limb in a fight.
