Marisa Tomei is an American actress. She rose to fame after starring in the 1992 comedy film My Cousin Vinny, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress Actress.
Tomei has also appeared in films such as In the Bedroom and The Wrestler, for which she received Academy Award nominations.
After working on the television series As the World Turns, Tomei came to prominence as a cast member on The Cosby Show spin-off A Different World in 1987.
