Lil Tay, real name Claire Hope, made a name for herself in 2018 by posting controversial but viral videos involving profanity and designer clothes and fancy cars.
In a statement posted on the Instagram account of the American star, it was confirmed that Lil Tay and his brother died.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden and tragic death of our beloved Claire,” the statement read.
