Lake Winterset fight video captures a violent brawl that broke out on August 2, 2025, at Lake Winterset in Polk County, Florida, about an hour east of Tampa.
The fight was recorded on cellphone video by a witness and showed people fighting aggressively, including punching and kicking.
At one point, two individuals were knocked unconscious, and a young woman was seen performing CPR on one of them.
The brawl reportedly occurred on a private property area referred to as “the Point,” where rowdy boaters gathered to fight, defecate, and engage in sexual activity.
Several minors were present during the violence, which disturbed families trying to enjoy the lake.
Law enforcement arrested eight suspects involved in the fight, including a 17-year-old minor. Charges filed included rioting, trespassing, and disorderly conduct.
Local residents and the property owner expressed frustration over such disruptive incidents, and “No trespassing” signs have been posted after the melee.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd condemned the behavior strongly and vowed to make more arrests to prevent further incidents.
