2023 Watch Times Square Ball Drop in New York to usher in 2023 Year 2022 is over.

Thousands of spectators came from across the country and around the world to watch the ball drop in Times Square.

New York City ushered in 2023 with a spectacular Saturday night show in Times Square, supporting New Year’s celebrations across the United States.
The night ended with the countdown in the form of a glowing geodesic circle measuring about 12 meters in diameter and weighing almost six tons from its perch atop One Times Square.
Above are nearly 2,700 Waterford crystals that shine, officials said, from a palette of more than 16 million colors.
Around midnight, lots of confetti fluttered over the crowd, swaying between the big screen, neon lights and flashing lights.
at noon ET before continuing the New Year’s tradition of singing John Lennon’s “Wait” before midnight, featuring JVKE, Jax, Ava Max, J-Hope, Osmani Garcia,
New Edition, Sech and Duran Duran.
The afternoon will begin at 6:00 p.m. ET with the fireworks and sunrise of the New Year’s Ball atop One Times Square.

Actor and TV personality Jonathan Bennett (“Mean Girls,” Hallmark’s “The Holiday Sitter,” Food Network’s “Cake Wars”) returns as the live host.
Bennett will be joined by supporter Jeremy Hassell, who has been a part of the New Year’s Eve Times Square celebration since 2016.
The first balloon release in Times Square was in 1907. This new year, the nearly 6-A. ton ball – 12 feet in diameter and containing 2,688.
Waterford crystal triangles and 32,256 light-emitting diodes – is expected to land on the 26th of Times Square from 60 seconds before midnight, at night, local time.
