Recent reports indicate a kidnapping in Bali involving Igor Komarov, a 28-year-old from Dnipro, Ukraine, described as the son of a local crime boss nicknamed “Narik.”

Kidnappers are demanding a $10 million ransom, and the incident has gone viral on social media.
Incident DetailsKomarov was reportedly abducted alongside Yermak Petrovsky, son of another Dnipro criminal figure, in late February 2026. Petrovsky escaped, but Komarov remains captive and has appeared in videos showing injuries like broken legs, a punctured chest, and possibly severed fingers from torture.
Komarov and Petrovsky have prior criminal ties in Dnipro, including a 2021 hooliganism case with firearms and links to scam call centers “protected” by Narik’s network for monthly fees up to $30,000 per office.
In a hostage video, Komarov referenced these connections while pleading for ransom payment.
