Tyrese Haliburton suffered a severe Achilles injury during Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
The injury occurred early in the first quarter when he went down in obvious pain after a drive, showing a strained right calf that worsened into a likely Achilles rupture. He was visibly emotional, even in tears, and was helped off the court with a towel over his head.
The Pacers ruled him out for the rest of the game. Haliburton had been playing through calf soreness but the injury ended his season abruptly.
