The video reportedly shows Perez shooting a .50 caliber Desert Eagle and Ruiz, in this last attempt to protect against bullets in a hardcover encyclopedia.
The match ended in disaster when the bullet entered the book and struck Ruiz in the chest, killing him.
While the video of Ruiz’s description of the vision has surfaced publicly, footage of the fatal shooting itself has been kept from the public.

Ruiz and Perez had a long relationship and recorded several vlogs for their YouTube channel La MonaLisa. However, Ruiz wanted to create a new channel called Damitboy, where he would film various horror films.
His first idea for the channel was to film outside the couple’s Halstad, Minnesota, where Perez will shoot him a hole in the heart, only the encyclopedia of 1, 5 inches protected.
According to Perez in his interview with the police, he was immediately concerned about this stunt and refused to pull it for more than a month. However, in the end, he agreed to direct the shoot on June 26, 2017.
Although he admitted that there were risks involved in this stunt, Ruiz remained adamant that he would go to ‘face with him, saying, “The most reliable person is the person I trust in this matter.

He may not admit me to the pearly gates because of the stupidity of this way. But I trust that it is my girlfriend who will do the work and not me.
