A dog walker who found Nicola Bulley’s phone on a bed has described how he thought it was ‘not good’ when he found the device on the morning she went missing.
The dog walker, named Ron, spoke to the media for the first time and told Best viral trends News the moment he saw the wallpaper on his phone which showed Ms Bulley and her partner Paul Ansell before calling the police and the mother him.
The second was reported missing. Ron was walking his dog in the same area where Ms Bulley was last seen this morning as News presenter Kay Burley and reporter Inzamam Rashid tracked her last movements three weeks after her death.
The dog walker said he gave police a full explanation when he found Ms Bulley’s phone on a park bench at around 9.30am on Friday January 27. The last person to see Ms Bulley enter the park on 9.01 am.

Reflecting on the three weeks since Mrs Bulley’s disappearance, Ron said: “There’s something new every day, isn’t it?He doesn’t know Mrs. Bulley, but he does know her dog, Willow.
“I’ve seen Willow’s two owners walking this dog before, but while I know their faces, I don’t know their names,” he said.
Ron added that when he first found the phone he thought “someone went to the toilet”. He added, “I saw a red brick building here and thought ‘this is not good’.
