Milana Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian, and activist born on March 8, 1987, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She immigrated to the U.S. as a refugee with her family.
She gained fame for her role as Lily Adams in AT&T commercials from 2013 to 2016 and again starting in 2020.
Besides commercials, she has acted in TV series like Other Space and This Is Us, and voiced the Marvel character Squirrel Girl in various media since 2018. She is also known for her activism, especially related to refugee aid and women’s rights.She started acting as a child and studied communication at UC San Diego.
Vayntrub has also created YouTube comedy content and directed award-winning short films. She is married with a son but keeps her family life private.
