A controversial video of Manohar Lal Dhakad, a local political leader from Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, has gone viral showing him in a sexually explicit act with a woman on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
The footage, captured by CCTV on May 13, 2025, shows Dhakad and a woman in a compromising position outside a white car registered in his name.
Following the video’s circulation, Bhanpura police registered an FIR under sections 296, 285, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and launched an investigation.
Dhakad has been removed from his post as National General Secretary of the Dhakad Mahasabha Youth Association.
The BJP has stated that Dhakad is not an official party member, and his wife, who is an elected District Panchayat member, supports BJP.
The incident has sparked political controversy and demands for a fair inquiry.Attempts to contact Dhakad have failed, and police are actively searching for him and the woman involved.
