Alabama Boat Battle: People throw themselves into the water as a huge mess hits Riverfront Park
The fight broke out on Saturday at Riverfront Park in Montgomery, Alabama, and led to several arrests. The mayor of the city promised that ‘justice will be served’ and previously revealed that it was a sailor who was attacked.
Jasmine Williams reported. Officers responded to the 200 block of Coosa Street regarding a disturbance around 7 p.m. Saturday, a Montgomery police spokesman told Newsweek.
Police “acted quickly to arrest several people who were reckless for attacking a man doing his job,” Montgomery Mayor Steven L.
Reed said in a statement shared on X, formerly Twitter. “Sign this warrant and justice will be served.”
